KENT CITY — Pentwater faced Algoma Christian in a non-conference boys basketball matchup at Kent City Tuesday night and dropped a 55-24 decision to the Knights.

The Falcons were missing their point guard, which created a problem with their composure on offense as well as their offensive sets.

Pentwater trailed, 23-11 at the half, and things did not get much better in the second half as the Knights dominated on both ends of the floor.

Mikey Carlson scored 14 points and Will Werkema-Grondsma added 13 to lead the Falcons. Werkema-Grondsma also had 10 rebounds and Carlson seven.

Pentwater fell to 1-6 overall and will return to West Michigan D League action Thursday night at Bear Lake.
