HOLLAND–The Reeths-Puffer Rockets girls basketball team made the trip down south to Holland on Friday and came back home a 65-41 OK-Green victory over the Dutch.

With the win, the Rockets remain in second place in the league standings one game behind the Muskegon Big Reds.

The Rockets used a huge fourth quarter on Friday evening both of the floor to put away Holland. The Rockets outscored the Dutch 20-2 in the fourth quarter. 

Arial Walker led Reeths-Puffer with a game-high 21 points. Sophia Hekkema tossed in 14 points.

Brooklyn Tornes and Ashlynn Anderson each had a game-high nine rebounds.

The Rockets went 15-of-25 from the free-throw line and shot a solid 47 percent on 22-of-47 from the field.

Reeths-Puffer got out to a 15-9 lead after the first quarter. The Rockets went into the half leading, 27-21.

Both teams put 18 points during the third period which gave the Rockets a 45-39 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Reeths-Puffer closed the deal with an 18-point scoring margin.

Reeths-Puffer (9-5, 6-1) travels to Ludington on Tuesday evening.
