WYOMING–The Reeths-Puffer girls basketball team hit the road Friday evening and returned home with a 43-37 OK Conference-Green win over the Wyoming Wolves.

The Rockets raced out to a 15-4 lead after the first eight minutes,, only to see Wyoming rally with a 15-9 scoring advantage in the second stanza to cut the Reeths-Puffer lead to 24-19 at the half.

The game stayed close throughout the second half as the Rockets outscored the Wolves 10-8 in the third quarter to take a 34-27 heading into the fourth quarter.

The Wolves held a slim 10-9 scoring advantage during the final eight minutes and the Rockets held on for the victory.

Arial Walker led the Rockets with 20 points. Brooklyn Torres tossed in eight points while Billie Tryska chipped in five points. Irelyn Niklasch led the Rockets with 13 rebounds while Torres grabbed nine.

Reeths-Puffer (5-5, 2-1) will host Zeeland East on Tuesday evening in an OK Conference-Green contest.
