HOWARD CITY–The Grant Tigers made quick work of a Tri-County team that is winless in the Central State Activities Association on Tuesday. Grant won in convincing fashion, 59-18.
Grant led 20-4 at the end of the first quarter and extended the leaded to 33-11 by the half.
The Tigers outscored Tri-County 9-2 in the third period and 17-5 in the final eight minutes.
Julie Ashbaugh led the Grant offense with a game-high 23. Jayci Hance tossed in eight points while Reese Gragg and Madison Thompson each chipped in seven points.
Grant (11-6, 5-3) will host Chippewa Hills on Friday.
