MONTAGUE — Montague’s girls basketball team won its third straight game on Thursday by turning back visiting Manistee, 57-38, in the West Michigan Conference-Lakes Division.

 
Addison Pranger led three players in double figures for the Wildcats with 13 points. She also hauled down eight rebounds and dished out three assists.
 
Braylyn Bultema followed with 11 points and three rebounds and Lauren Smith added 10 points. Ella King had six rebounds, four assists, nine steals and six rebounds. Emma Peterson dished out six assists, grabbed three rebounds and scored four points.
 
After an 11-11 tie at the end of the first quarter, the Wildcats used a 16-10 scoring advantage to go up, 27-21, at the half.
 
Montague outscored the Chippewas 16-7 in the third quarter and went into the fourth quarter with a 43-28 lead. The Wildcats had a 14-10 advantage in the last period.
 
The Wildcats (13-7, 8-3 WMC-Lakes) are tied for third place in the conference with Oakridge. Montague plays their hosts Shelby on Monday.
 
Manistee (8-12, 4-7 WMC-Lakes) hosts Holton in a non-conference game Tuesday night.
