ZEELAND–The Muskegon Big Reds rebounded from their first loss of the season with a 68-32 win over Zeeland East on Tuesday.

Nine Big Reds found the scoring column and combined for nine 3-pointers.

David Day III and Jordan Briggs led the Muskegon scoring attack as the two seniors each scored a game-high 17 points. Stanley Cunningham tossed in nine points while James Martin contributed eight points and Terrence Davis chipped in seven.

Muskegon raced out to a 15-4 lead at the end of the first quarter and increased the lead to 28-12 by halftime. They went on to hold scoring advantages of 15-10 in the third period and 17-10 in the final eight minutes.

Muskegon (14-1, 9-0) sits in first place of the OK-Green with a two-game lead over Zeeland West. The two teams face off on Friday in Muskegon.
