Early surge sparks Ravenna’s boys to victory over Hesperia

HESPERIA — The Ravenna Bulldogs raced out to a double-digit lead on Monday and cruised to a 73-34 victory over the Hesperia Panthers.

Ravenna led 44-18 at the half and outscored the Panthers 31-15 in the second half.

Carter Schullo led the Bulldogs with 19 points. Chase Thomas and Dylan May each scored 11.

Ravenna (7-14, 7-7) will host Western Michigan Christian on Thursday.

Hesperia (4-15, 1-9) hosts Hart on Thursday night.
