FRUITPORT — The Fruitport Calvary Christian Eagles took on powerful Wyoming Lee on Friday night and were saddled with a 83-63 setback.

Lee raised their record to 16-1.

“That’s quite a collection of great players who transferred into Wyoming Lee and I hope it works out for them in the playoffs,” said Calvary coach Brad Richards. “The coaches were proud of how our kids battled. We didn’t roll over against a school with 10 times as many students as our enrollment.”

Bradley Richards led Calvary with 25 points and 13 rebounds. Quinn Swanson added 14 points and Gabe VanBaale had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Sam Zelenka added nine points and Ben Pollock had six assists.

Calvary lost its third straight game and is 10-8 overall, 3-4 in the league.
