KENT CITY — The Kent City Eagles scored a non-league victory on Tuesday night, 73-22, over visiting Big Rapids Crossroads.

The Eagles led 25-8 after one quarter and extended the advantage to 41-10 at the half.

“They are a struggling program with kids that play really hard,” Kent City coach Dave Ingles said. “I got to play some kids good minutes that have put a lot of work in at practice.”

Cole Shenkenberg had 11 points to lead Kent City, which had 11 players score at least one point.

Kent City (11-6, 6-2)) hosts Grant on Friday.
