SHELBY — Bishop Lee tallied 22 points and 15 rebounds to lead Shelby past Montague in a 66-49 WMC Rivers boys basketball matchup on Tuesday.
 
The win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Tigers, who had two other players score in double figures.

Shelby took a 16-12 lead after one quarter, and built a 35-27 halftime lead.
 
The Tigers outscored Montague 17-12 in the third quarter for a 52-39 lead to start the fourth.
 
Shelby’s Mason Garcia put up 15 points, eight rebounds and eight assists and Trey Waller added 10 points. Carson Claeys had nine points and three rebounds and Phillip Hayes had eight points, five assists and five rebounds.
 
Montague was led by Owen Raeth with 16 points and three steals, while Owen Petersen and Paul Olson each contributed six points. Isaiah Atchison hauled down 13 rebounds and had two assists and Rodney Brassfield had eight rebounds.
 
Shelby (6-9, 2-5) is scheduled to host Ravenna on Thursday night, while Montague (9-6, 5-2) entertains Whitehall in a conference crossover game the same night.
