FREMONT — Lucas Peterson had two individual first-place finishes and swam on a winning relay team Tuesday and led the Ludington boy team to a 62-31 victory over Fremont.

Overall, the Orioles won six events in the Coastal Conference meet in Fremont.

Peterson touched the wall first in the 200 individual medley in 2:34.43 and won the 100 breaststroke in 1:16.32. He also was on the winning 200 freestyle relay squad that finished in 1:40.27.
 
Also swimming on that relay were Ignacio Molina, Rowen Vaara and Dylan Sniegowski.
 
Molina won the 100-yard freestyle in 54.44 seconds. Lucas Miller recorded a first place in the 100 butterfly.
 
Second places were recorded by Aidan Malburg, Peterson, Miller and Gavin Smith in the 200-medley relay (2:03.57), Smith in the 200 individual medley (2:38.67), Molina in the 50 freestyle (23.91), Vaara in the 500 freestyle (5:54.12), Kyle Wendt in the 100 freestyle (57.49).
 
Other firsts were recorded by: Miller, Smith, Wendt and Luke Kwietniewski in the 200-freestyle relay (1:47.70), Miller in the 100 backstroke (1:11.95), Ian Lundberg in the 100 breaststroke (1:19.41) and Sniegowski, Vaara, Wendt and Molina in the 400 freesstyle relay.
 
Notching third places were the 200-medley relay team of Kwietniewski, Lundberg, Trey Keson and Grady Sailor in the 200-medley relay (2:10.95), Smith in the 500 freestyle (6:08.19) and the 400 freestyle relay squad of Malburg, Sailor, Reinhold Heinrich and Lundberg (4:21.30).

Next up for the Orioles is a road trip to Alma for a dual meet Thursday.
