MUSKEGON–The Oakridge Eagles girls basketball team won their fifth consecutive game on Friday evening, defeating Whitehall, 46-33, in a West Michigan Conference matchup.

Oakridge jumped out to a 19-6 lead after the first quarter and went into the half with a 22-12 lead. Both teams struggled offensively during the second period with Whitehall holding a 6-3 scoring edge.

The Eagles held the upper hand in the third period, 13-9, while Whitehall outscored Oakridge 12-11 during the final eight minutes.

Anna Lundquist led Oakridge with 16 points, 10 rebounds, seven blocked shots and four steals. Lily Blackburn tossed in 13 points, had seven steals and grabbed five rebounds. Destyni Lane chipped in nine points. Kaelinn Jozsa contributed seven points and hauled down seven rebounds.
 
Oakridge (15-4, 8-3) will host Morley-Stanwood on Monday.
