RAVENNA — A big fourth quarter and Mallory Miller’s 16 points led Mason County Central girls basketball past Ravenna, 39-35 on Tuesday.

It was the fourth-straight win for the Spartans, who trails Hart by one game in the WMC Rivers race.
 
The Spartans outscored Ravenna 17-7 in the fourth to seal the victory.

MCC opened the game with a 10-point lead but Ravenna rallied to close the gap, 10-8, at the first-quarter buzzer. MCC led, 14-13 at the  half.
 
MCC managed to extend its lead to five, 22-17 by the end of the third quarter.
 
Miller, who knocked down two 3-point shots, also contributed four steals. Wren Nelson scored nine points and hauled down nine rebounds. The Spartans sank 13-of-19 free throws.
 
Ravenna was led by Emma Gillard who scored 11 points, Addi Gilbert added seven. The Bulldogs were 4-of-9 at the free throw line.
 
The Spartans (14-2, 8-1) travel to Hart (15-2, 9-0) for a big conference showdown Friday night, while the Bulldogs (5-11, 2-7) travel to Hesperia on Friday for another conference game.
