RAVENNA — Mason County Central boys basketball team ran its winning streak to four straight games with a 70-47 West Michigan Conference-Rivers Division victory over host Ravenna Thursday night.

The Spartans forged a 10-point lead, 20-10, by the end of the first quarter. But the Bulldogs came back, outscoring the Spartans 11-9 in the second quarter to make it an eight-point margin, 29-21 at the half.
 
Recovering in the third quarter, the Spartans again had a 10-point differential with a 23-13 advantage and carried a 52-34 lead into the fourth period.
 
Jayden Perrone had a big night for the Spartans with 35 points, nine rebounds and four steals. Will Chye added 12 points and seven rebounds.
 
Ravenna was led by Carter Schullo with 12 points and Dylan May added eight.
 
Mason County Central (14-4, 7-2 WMC-Rivers) travels to Ludington for the annual contest between the two county rivals next Thursday.
 
Ravenna (6-13, 5-6 WMC-Rivers) hosts Oakridge Tuesday night in a conference game.
