SHELBY — The Shelby Tigers scored 47 points in the first half and rolled to a 76-37 boys’ basketball victory over the visiting Hesperia Panthers.

The Tigers raced to a 22-11 lead after one quarter and increased it to 47-17 at the half. In the second half, the Tigers outscored the Panthers 29-20.

Bishop Lee poured in 31 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to pace Shelby. Wyatt Dickman added 17 points and six rebounds. Mason Garcia added 11 points, seven assists and four steals. Carson Claeys had 10 points, five rebounds and five assists.

Shelby is at White Cloud on Tuesday.

Hesperia is at Ludington on Tuesday.
