SPRING LAKE — The Spring Lake Lakers celebrated Senior Night on Friday in grand style with a 45-37 victory over the Allendale  Falcons.
 
Spring Lake led 11-7 after one quarter and extended the margin to double digits at 23-13 at the half. The advantage grew to 41-25 heading into the fourth quarter.
 
The Lakers were led by Ella Andree with 12 points.  Alexa Carter had eight points and 12 rebounds, while Brooke Bolthouse added nine points.  Tessa Britt chipped in six points and six rebounds.
 
It was a night for the Lakers to celebrate their two seniors – Noor Baria and Emma Nilces.
 
“These two people have given a lot to the basketball program over the years, but more importantly, they have given a lot to the entire Spring Lake student body,” said Laker coach Rich Hyde. “Their leadership on and off the court will be sorely missed.”
 
Allendale (9-13 overall, 6-8 OK-Blue) was led by Avery Brose with 11 points and Ava Buhlman with 9 points.
 
Spring Lake finishes the regular season 10-10 overall, 6-8 in the OK-Blue.
