HOLLAND–The Muskegon Big Reds had four players hit double digits in Tuesday evening’s 70-52 OK Conference-Green win over Holland.

With the win, the Big Reds improve to (18-2, 13-0) and will host Mona Shores on Friday evening.

On Tuesday, Anthony Sydnor III and Terrance Davis led the way for Muskegon with 18 points. Jordan Briggs tossed in 15 points while David Day III scored 12 points. The Big Reds hit eight shots from beyond the arc, including four from Briggs and three from Sydnor.  The Big Reds were a dismal 7-of-16 from the charity stripe.

Muskegon raced out to a 20-17 lead after the first quarter and led by a slim 36-33 margin at halftime.

The Big Reds put some distance between themselves and Holland in the third period by outscoring the Dutch, 20-9, to take a 56-42 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Muskegon outscored Holland 14-10 in the final quarter.

Jacob Vanhekken led Holland with 17 points. Timo Phillips tossed in 13 points and Cam Ferguson scored 11.
