LUDINGTON — Traverse City Central snapped Ludington’s four-game winning streak with a 54-22 non-conference girls’ basketball victory Monday night.

It was all downhill for the Orioles after they were shutout 6-0 in the first quarter. The Trojans blew the game wide open with a 22-5 second period and led 28-5 at half.
 
The Orioles trailed 42-12 at the end of the third quarter.
 
Keelyn Laird scored nine points to lead the Orioles, while Cristina Shpak had four, Karli Meysar three and Hannah Glanville, Olivia Lynn and Jordyn Anderson two each.
 
Ludington (15-6, 11-1 West Michigan Conference-Rivers Division) travels to Cadillac for another non-conference game Wednesday night.
