Whitehall, Hart wrestlers win division titles in WMC meet

MUSKEGON – The dominant Whitehall Vikings captured the West Michigan Conference Lakes Division wrestling title at Orchard View on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Hart Pirates ran away with the title in the league’s Rivers Division.

Fremont and Orchard View rounded out the top three in the WMC-Lakes.

Hesperia and Mason County Central were second and third in the WMC-Rivers.

Jimmy Thommen (Montague), Hunter Sandford (Mason CC), Chris Aebig (Montague), Blake Sayer (Hesperia), Zane McCabe (Mason CC), Tee Ward (Fremont), Ryne Christensen (Whitehall), Darnell Mack (Whitehall), Alex Hicks (Hart), Trey Myers (Fremont), Wyatt Jenkins (Whitehall), Jackson Cook (Whitehall), Michael Romero (Fremont) and Shane Cook (Whitehall) earned championships in their respective weight classes.
