FREMONT — It may have been a cool day, but the Fremont Packers came out hot on Friday in a non-conference soccer match.

The Packers scored four first-half goals and went on to defeat the Grant Tigers, 6-0.

Mia Clemence led the Packers with four goals and an assist. Riley Chase and Maddie Mater scored one goal each.

Fremont outshot the Tigers 22-2. Packer goalkeepers Hallie Snyder and Kate Mellema split time in net and had one save each.

Grant’s Rachel Robinson made 16 saves.

Fremont moves to 1-1 while Grant falls to 0-1.
