HUDSONVILLE — The host Hudsonville Unity Christian Crusaders put on a show on their home court on Monday night and dismantled the Fremont Packers, 70-40.

The Division 2 regional semifinal game played on Unity’s home court.

Unity canned 11 shots from beyond the 3-point arc and raised their record to 17-9 on the season.  The Crusaders will take on Grand Rapids Christian, a 64-39 winner over Spring Lake, in the regional final on Wednesday night.

Point guard TJ Fisher sparked the Crusaders with 24 points, including six 3-pointers. Dylan Shaban added 11 points and Colin Nieuwenhuis added 10 points.

Unity jumped out to an 11-8 lead after one quarter and increased it to 28-15 at the half. In the second half, the hosts outscored the Packers 42-25 for the final margin of victory.

Jordon McDonald led Fremont with 15 points. Ben Mellema and Gavin Richards scored eight points each.

Fremont ends their season with a 13-12 record.
