FRUITPORT — The Fruitport Trojans won a non-league baseball game in dramatic fashion on Tuesday.

Brady French, who had three hits in the game, stole home in the ninth inning to help the Trojans defeat Montague 10-9.

Montague tied the game in the sixth inning on a Skeets Dusenbury ground out that evened the score at 9-all.

Each team collected 10 hits in the contest.

Braxton Ward was credited for the victory on the mound for Fruitport. He allowed one hit and no runs in 1 2/3 innings of work. Christian Kennedy and Tommie Anderson came on in relief to help close out the game.

Bryton Bellinger took the loss for Montague. He surrendered one run and two hits over 2 2/3 innings of work. He struck out three and walked one.
