NORTON SHORES–The Oakridge girls took care of business on Tuesday with a 7-3 non-league victory over the host Mona Shores Sailors.
 
Kristen Hylland went the distance on the mound for Shores and surrendered 14 hits while striking out 6.
 
The Sailors led 3-2 through five innings, but a four-run surge by the Eagles in the sixth inning gave them the lead.
 
Oakridge received a strong pitching performance from Kaelinn Jozsa, who pitched all seven innings. She allowed three runs on two hits. She struck out four.
 
Gracie Clark, Ahria Doornbos and Jozsa had three hits each for Oakridge. Jozsa had a sixth-inning home run.
 
Brooklyn Graham accounted for all three Sailor runs with a third-inning inside-the-park home run.
