FRANKENMUTH — The Freeland Falcons used their long-range shooting to take down the Whitehall Vikings 51-33 on Tuesday night.
The Division 2 regional semifinal game was played in Frankenmuth.
Freeland advances to Friday night’s regional title game against host Frankenmuth. Both teams have topped the 20-victory plateau already this season.
On Tuesday, the Falcons led 15-9 after one quarter but turned up the pressure in the second by making five shots from behind the 3-point line. In all, Freeland made 10 3-pointers.
Freeland led 34-15 at the half and 48-23 after three quarters.
Whitehall (13-11) was led by Autumn Ferris with 11 points. Lucy Zamojcin and Lexi Daggett added six points each.
Avery Mantei led Freeland with 19 points. Karie Keefer added 18.
