FREMONT — The Fremont girls softball team swept a West Michigan Conference Lakes Division doubleheader from Manistee on Tuesday afternoon, 15-0 and 21-0.
Both games ended in three innings due to the mercy rule.
Pitcher Sophia Romine picked up the win in Game 1, while Mackenzie Gleason earned the win pitching the second game.
Leading the offense was Savannah Keur, who drove in eight runs on the day.
Gleason, Keur and Sage Vandenberg each hit a triple.
