Grant racks up the runs in softball doubleheader sweep over Tri-County

 

The Grant Tigers made quick work of Tri-County in a softball doubleheader on Friday. Grant won the opener, 12-2, and the nightcap, 21-1.

 

In the first game, Gracen Scott, Madison Thompson, and Allie Robeck each had two RBI. Emma Bliss was the winning pitcher. She allowed two hits and struck out 10.

 

In the second game, the Tigers plated 21 runs to earn the sweep. Taylee Self had three hits, one a double, and had three RBI. Jayci Hance had two hits, one a double, and knocked in three runs. Bliss was the winning pitcher. She allowed one hit and struck out seven in the three-inning game.
