Jacee Hoffman was stellar on the mound and at the plate on Friday as Kent City swept Reed City in a softball twinbill.

Kent City won the opener, 9-2, and the nightcap, 6-5 in 10 innings.

Hoffman was the winning pitcher in both games with a total of 26 strikeouts.

In the first game, Hoffman had 12 strikeouts pitching and a home run and two RBI from the plate. Hannah Stellini had three hits while Lylah Larson added two doubles and two RBI.

In the second game, Hoffman struck out 14 in 10 innings of work. At the plate, she had four hits, including a triple and a double. Savannah Miller had three hits.
