MORLEY — The Kent City Eagles plated a total of 27 runs in a softball sweep of Morley-Stanwood on Friday.

In the opener, the Eagles posted an 11-3 victory. They came back in the nightcap and won, 16-1, in four innings.

Jacee Hoffman led the hitting attack in the opener with three hits and four RBI. Hannah Stellini belted a home run. Lexie Bowers had two hits. Hoffman was the winning pitcher with 15 strikeouts.

In the nightcap, Abby Pecysnki had three hits, one a double, and drove in five runs. Hoffman, the winning pitcher, had a home run among her two hits. She had two RBI. Denyle Bonter had two RBI.
