MORLEY — Kent City’s Kyler Larson dominated Game 2 of a baseball doubleheader against Morley-Stanwood on Friday.

His performance earned the Eagles a split of a pitching-dominated afternoon. Morley-Stanwood won the first game 2-1 and behind the 18-strikeout, one hit performance of Larson in the nightcap, the Eagles earned a 2-0 victory.

In the opener, Webb Longcore had two hits of the Eagles’ three hits. He knocked in one run. Zach Flegel was the losing pitcher.

The second game was all Larson, who also had a double at the plate. Zane Kik had an RBI for the Eagles.
