Muskegon Catholic pitcher Dewey Modaff pitched a no-hitter on Wednesday and led Muskegon Catholic’s baseball team to a 10-0 victory over West Michigan Aviation Academy.
Modaff stuck out five and allowed just a walk in the second inning.
Bryan Convertini led the MCC hitting attack with three hits, including a home run and a triple. He scored three runs and knocked in three runs. Croix Klint had two doubles and three RBI while Bode Zygmuntowski had two hits. Modaff helped his own cause with ia pair of hits.
MCC is now 6-1-1 overall, 1-0 in the conference.
