MUSKEGON–The Mona Shores boys golf team took top honors on Tuesday afternoon at the first OK-Green conference jamboree of the season.

The match was played at Muskegon Country Club.

The Sailors finished with a round of 172. They were followed by Zeeland East (184), Zeeland West (188), Reeths-Puffer (194), Holland (198) and Wyoming (258).

Mona Shores senior Thomas Stewart took top honors with a round of 40. Sailors senior Nichols Taylor was just one shot behind with a 41. Senior James Ackley and junior Lucas Dethloff each shot 43.

Reeths-Puffer junior Dylan Panozzo came in 10th place with a 45.

Other individual scores for the Rockets included: Kristian Brown (46), Tanner Bonjernoor (50), Mason Cregg (53), Travis Ambrose (55) and David Grimard (57).
