NORTON SHORES –The Mona Shores girls soccer team shut down Holland in their first OK Conference-Green matchup of the season on Tuesday evening.
The Sailors used a balanced attack to defeat Holland, 8-0.
Eight different scorers found the net for the Sailors.
Ali Trautner, Katie Phillips, Maya Cooper, Shay Norden, Ava Freye, Mikayla Benedict, Ali Phillips and Addison Fisher scored goals for Mona Shores.
Goalkeeper Jersey VanderWall earned her second shutout of the season.
Mona Shores (2-1, 1-0) travels to Wyoming on Thursday.
