NORTON SHORES–The Mona Shores Sailors completed a three-game season sweep of Wyoming on Thursday with a 12-2 victory.

Hayden Smith earned the victory on the mound. He pitched four-plus innings and allowed two runs on seven hits. He struck out two. Ethan Ring came on a tight situation with the bases loaded and none out in the fifth inning and preserved the Sailor lead.

Jaxon Huffman had two hits, including a towering three-run home run that blew open the game. He added an RBI single and finished the day with five RBI. Zach Keesen had three hits, two runs scored and two RBI. Javanni Johnson tripled in the first inning and came home for the Sailors first run.

Mona Shores (8-2, 5-1) hosts Traverse City St. Francis at 10 a.m. Saturday in tournament action. Jenison and Mount Pleasant is on the other half of the bracket and will play at 10 a.m. at Marsh Field.
