MONTAGUE — The host Montague Wildcats earned a hard fought 3-2 soccer victory over the Ludington Wednesday.Maddy Billings and Saviera Moser each scored a goal for Ludington while Annie Kline had an assist.
Grace Ashely had eight saves on 11 shots by Montague. Ludington had 14 shots on goal.
Montague (1-0) will be back in action on Saturday at the Oakridge Invitational.
Ludington falls to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in the West Michigan Conference.
