WYOMING–Muskegon Catholic claimed both halves of a baseball doubleheader over Tri-Unity Christian on Tuesday.

The Crusaders won the first game, 6-0, and the nightcap, 8-4.

Jacob Lyonnais tossed a complete-game shutout in the opener. In five innings of work, he allowed one hit and struck out eight.

Bode Zygmuntowski had three hits to lead the Crusader offense, while Bryan Convertini had a hit and two RBI. Croix Klint and Owen Lyonnais each had a single and an RBI.

In Game 2, Klint pitched three shutout innings for the win. Leading hitters for MCC were Convertini with a single and two runs scored and Ryan Hilson with a hit and two runs scored.

MCC is now 10-3 on the season.
