MUSKEGON — The Muskegon Catholic Crusaders posted identical 15-0 shutouts in both games of a non-conference doubleheader on Friday.
Finn Maschino got the win in the first game for MCC. He allowed just one hit and struck out seven. The leading hitter was Dewey Modaff with two hits, one a home run. Maschino and Owen Lyonnais also had two hits for the Crusaders.
In the nightcap, Bode Zygmuntowski pitched all three innings and allowed one hit and struck out four. Leading hitters for MCC were Zygmuntowski, Braden Gustin and Ryan Hilson with two hits each.
MCC is now 13-3-1 on the season.
