North Muskegon finishes third in Battle of the Bay tennis tourney

TRAVERSE CITY – The North Muskegon girls tennis team finished in third place at the Battle of the Bay on Saturday.

The Norse defeated Elk Rapids, 5-3, tied Jackson Lumen Christi, 4-4, and lost to Traverse City St. Francis, 6-2.

Ella Tarrant and Anna Toebe were flight champions at No. 1 doubles.

Fia Lindsay (No 2 singles), Francine Vinson (No. 3 singles) and Allie Sanocki (No. 4 singles) finished runner-up.

North Muskegon has a dual record of 7-2-2 and will travel to Grand Rapids Northpointe Christian on Monday.
