Pentwater golf cruises to first place in West Michigan D league match

 

MESICK–The Pentwater Falcons golf team continued their winning ways in the West Michigan D League on Tuesday.

 

The Falcons finished at the top of the leaderboard with a 170.

 

The host school, Mesick, finished with 239 while Bear Lake came in third place with 261.

 

The event took place at Antioch Hills Golf Course in Mesick.

 

Pentwater sophomore Mikey Carlson finished at the top of the individual leaderboard Mikey Carlson with a 41. Senior Andrew Kolenda and sophomore Elias Marjasalo tied for second place as each shot rounds of 42. Junior Hunter Cornelisse and sophomore Nathan Macher tied for fifth place with a 45s. Junior Alivia Kolenda rounded the field for Pentwater with 47 good for a seventh-place finish.
