FREMONT–Ravenna ended up on top of the leaderboard in Tuesday’s West Michigan Conference Rivers Division Golf Jamboree at Waters Edge Golf Course in Fremont.

Holton hosted the seven-team event at Waters Edge Golf Course in Fremont.

Ravenna Bulldogs shot a round of 192, 10 shots better than Holton, which shot a 202. The Mason County Central Spartans were third at 206. North Muskegon and Hesperia each finished at 208. Shelby came in sixth place with a 211 while Hart finished with 231.

Shelby’s sixth-place score of 211 is much improved and got them into the mix with several other league teams. Carson Claeys shot a round of 48 to lead the Tigers. Senior Bishop Lee, playing in just his second jamboree, shot a 53. Junior Ignacio Garcia, playing in his first jamboree, shot a 55. Senior Mason Garcia finished with a 55. Sophomore Eigh Brown recorded a 71.

No other individual results were available.

Shelby will be back in action Wednesday at the Oakridge Invitational being played at Chase Hammond Golf Course. The Tigers will return to Waters Edge on Thursday for another WMC Rivers Division Jamboree hosted by Hesperia.
