WYOMING–After winning its first 11 softball games of the season, the Reeths-Puffer Rockets felt defeat in the first game of Tuesday night’s doubleheader.

The Rockets lost the opener 4-2, but came back to win the nightcap 6-4 over Wyoming.

In Game 1, Brook Buchan had a double and a single for Reeths-Puffer. Mady Snyder was the losing pitcher. She allowed four hits, two earned runs and struck out eight.

In the nightcap, the Rockets (12-1, 5-1) had nine hits, led by Kaylee Jones with three hits, one a triple. Jersi Bilek had a double and a single. Natalie Kunnen and Kyleigh Bilek both had a triple and Abbie Critchett had a double.

Kyleigh Bilek was the winning pitcher. She allowed five hits, no runs and struck out three.
