The Reeths-Puffer Rockets had an offensive field day on Thursday and posted a doubleheader sweep of the Fruitport Trojans.

The Rockets won the opener, 16-5 and the nightcap 17-0. In all, the Rockets had 29 hits in the twinbill.

In Game 1, Kyleigh Bilek led the Rockets with three hits, including a double. Abbie Critchett added a triple and a single while Kaylee Jones, Megan Barnes and Lainey McDaniel each had two singles.

Mady Snyder was the winning pitcher. She allowed four hits, one walk and struck out two.

In Game 2, McDaniel, a freshman, got her first start pitching and earned the shutout victory. She allowed one hit and struck out four. She helped her own cause with two hits, one a double.

Leading hitters included Snyder with three doubles and Jones with a home run and a single. Kyleigh Bilek had two doubles while Jersi Bilek and Natalie Kunnen each had two singles. Abbie Critchet also belted a home run.
