HOLTON — The Reeths-Puffer Rockets won both their baseball games on Saturday and won the four-team tournament played at Holton.
 
In the final, Reeths-Puffer defeated White Cloud, 7-4. In the semifinal round, the Rockets defeated Newaygo, 17-1.
 
In the victory over Newaygo, Jaxson Whitaker was the winning pitcher. He struck out fix of the six batters he faced. Brayden Mitchelson and Caiden Theisen each threw an inning. At the plate, the Rockets put the game away in the third inning byf scoring nine runs. Leading hitters were Trent Reichert with two doubles, Lukas Johnson with a triple and a single and Holden Earnest with a pair of singles. 
 
In the championship game, Reichert went the distance on the mound with one walk and seven strikeouts. The Rockets plated three runs in the firest and four more in the second to gain quick control of the game. Players with two hits each included Kyle Schlaff, Holden Earnest, Lukas Johnson and Reichert, who also smashed his second home run of the season. 
 
Mason Ruether had a triple and Landyn McGowen a single for the Indians.
