SHELBY–The Shelby girls soccer team dropped a non-conference contest to the Sparta Spartans on Monday evening, 5-3.
Sparta jumped out quickly and scored three goals in the first 10 minutes of the game. Sparta led 4-2 at the half. Each team scored a goal in the second half.
Shelby (1-1) will host Whitehall on Wednesday. Game time is set for 5:30 pm.
