DETROIT-The Spring Lake Lakers boys golf team participated in the Detroit Golf Club Invitational hosted by U of D Jesuit High School on Monday in Detroit.
The Lakers finished in 10th in the 15-team field. Spring Lake shot a round of 316.
Claiming the top spot was Grand Rapids Christian with a round of 285. They were followed by U of D Jesuit and Traverse City Central, which each shot a 300. They were followed by Traverse City West with a 302.
Top performers for Spring Lake included: senior Max Brown (74, 10th place), sophomore Kody Vis (76, 24th), sophomore Avery Anderson (82, 56th), senior Max Witherall (84, 65th) and senior Reece Horton (86, 77th).
