Spring Lake girls run away from Allendale in track meet

SPRING LAKE–The Spring Lake Lady Lakers turned in a strong performance against Allendale on Tuesday afternoon with a 83-54 dual meet win.

First-place finishers were Meghan Guczwa with a personal best time of 1:00.87 in the 400m dash, Kyla Meyers in the 800 run, Lily Parker in the 1600 and 3200 runs, Addi Tober in the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles, Hannah Brown in the shot put and discus with a personal best of 83-10, and Alana Mazurek in the long jump with a personal best of 16-0.

Additionally, all four relay teams claimed victories. The 4×100 relay consisted of Hannah Brown, Reese Cooper, Maura Archambault, and Mazurek. The 4x200m relay consisted of Catherine Vandergriff, Cooper, Giselle Cossey, and Guczwa. The 4x400m relay consisted of Meyers, Charlise Carlson, Cossey, and Guczwa. The 4x800m relay consisted of Parker, Katie Riemersma, Guczwa, and Meyers.
