SPRING LAKE — Following a tough 8-6 loss in the first game, Spring Lake bounced back to take the nightcap 10-1 over Grand Haven on Saturday at home.

In the opener, Spring Lake trailed 6-1 at the end of two innings, but then mounted a furious comeback.
 
The Lakers scored five runs over the next three innings, two each in the fourth and fifth to pull into a 6-6 tie. But the Buccaneers put up a two-spot in the top of the seventh for the win.
 
In the second game, Ryan Grimm was the winning pitcher, allowing one run on just three hits while striking out six.
 
Derrick Paggeot pounded out three hits to lead the Lakers at the plate and drove in three runs. Zach Schlepp and Grimm had two hits each.
 
Spring Lake (7-3) hosts Holland Christian on Tuesday.
