The Western Michigan Christian Warrior baseball team dropped a non-conference baseball doubleheader to Grand Rapids Covenant Christian on Monday. WMC lost the opener, 4-0, and the nightcap 13-2.
 
In the first game, Max Miller pitched a strong four innings and gave up two earned runs.
 
In the second game, Covenant gained the upper hand quickly with nine runs in the first two innings. Jonathan Clausing had an RBI double for the Warriors and Will Liggett knocked in a run with a sacrifice fly. Liggett made his first start of the season on the mound and got relief help from Sam Sipe.
 
WM Christian travels to Holton on Thursday.
