FREMONT — It was a frustrating day for the Ludington baseball team as the Orioles traveled to Fremont for a West Michigan Conference Lakes Division doubleheader and dropped both games, 4-0 and 12-2, Tuesday.

Jack Stidham was the losing pitcher in the opener, giving up three earned runs on six hits and striking out three.

Brody Kaminski pitched the nightcap and gave up two earned runs on six hits.

Kaminski led the Orioles at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored.

Ludington fell to 7-12 overall on the season and 4-6 in the conference. The Orioles travel to Whitehall on Saturday to take on the host Vikings as well as Traverse City West.

Fremont improved to 4-10 overall and is scheduled to host Holton on Friday.
