Fremont and Holland Christian each posted a softball victory on Friday.

Fremont won the first game 4-0 thanks to some stellar pitching from Sophia Romine. Holland Christian came back and won the nightcap, 6-5.

In the opener, Romine allowed four hits and struck out four. Elise Pfeiffer led Fremont with two hits. The Packer defense was stellar as they did not commit an error in the game.

Kierea Smith had two hits for Holland Christian.

In the nightcap, Savannah Keur and Maddie Baden had two hits each for Fremont.

Fremont tied the game in the second inning, but Holland Christian regained the lead in the third inning and held on to the end.
