MUSKEGON — The Fruitport Trojans used six hits and six walks to produce six runs and defeated the Oakridge Eagles 6-5 in the first round of Saturday’s Greater Muskegon Athletic Association baseball tournament.

Ryan Bosch led Fruitport with three hits, two RBI and one run scored. Christian Kennedy was the winning pitcher in relief.

Michael Wambaugh led the Eagles’ 10-hit attack with three hits and an RBI.

Fruitport led 2-0 heading into the bottom of the third. That’s when Oakridge plated four runs. The Eagles scored another run inn the fourth inning.

However, Fruitport rallied in the fifth and tied the game at 5-all. Bosch led off the final inning with a hit and later scored on a ground out for the winning run.
